AMDEA are recruiting for a Technical Manager which is a key role, providing essential member support on standards, regulations and compliance – working primarily on the sustainability and performance areas. The Technical Manager leads on workstreams relating to the review, creation, revision and maintenance of industry regulation and standards for domestic appliances. Working closely with Government departments and industry stakeholders, the Technical Manager represents our members’ interests in shaping policy, regulation and standards that meet the current and future needs of our industry.
The role requires travel, both within the UK and Internationally. There will be occasional overnight stays away from home. Your normal place of work will be home working with a requirement to be present at AMDEA’s London Victoria, SW1 offices for AMDEA meetings, and attending meetings at members and stakeholders’ locations across the UK.
