AMDEA, in partnership with the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS), City of London University and London Fire Brigade, is inviting members to attend the 2050:Fridge of the Future event on September 16.
The aim of the event is to bring together all parties with an interest in understanding the future of large white goods to share perspectives, identify common interests and discuss how we could work together to achieve shared goals.
• What will white goods in the future look like?
• How will they be shaped by evolving demand, environment and new technologies?
• What impact will this have on product safety and future-ready regulation?
The discussions will identify key themes for Government, industry and other stakeholders to consider in order to improve the safety of white goods and reduce barriers to innovation. AMDEA will lead/ chair a session and CEO Paul Hide will be looking for some speaker support from members.
AMDEA is hopeful that this event can go ahead in-person, in line with any Covid-secure measures at the time. It will also be live streamed, so that anyone unable attend in person can join the event online and engage live with the panel discussions and Q&As.
To register for your virtual or in-person place at the 2050:Fridge of the Future event use the Eventbrite link here.
Further details and confirmed speakers will be announced shortly. The social media hashtag for the event is #FridgeoftheFuture.
