This year’s Electrical Product Safety Conference will focus on sustainability and look at critical issues affecting the sector.
Supported by AMDEA, the one-day event (November 23, Church House, Westminster), which is now in its 14th year, brings together experts and leaders from across the industry to look at and discuss all aspects of electrical product safety, from conception through to manufacturing, production and sales.
One of the questions on this year’s Safe and Sustainable agenda is: can smart integration enhance the sustainability of products and assist the race to net zero?
Other topics up for discussion include how to achieve sustainability in the home, how to ensure safe extended product life and safety and sustainability in design.
Organised by charity, Electrical Safety First (ESF), the conference will look at what will drive consumers to adopt big changes in the way in which they interact with products, as well as how they behave now and how they will adapt.
Attracting a wide range of delegates from government departments to manufacturers, retailers, importers, lawyers and test houses, the event will also be used to announce the winner of the Safety Innovation Award 2022.
