Reducing your carbon footprint

A fifth of UK’s greenhouse emissions come from residential buildings. Most comes from heating homes, but your appliances – and how you use them – do make a contribution. Around 31% of a home’s typical energy bill is estimated to be from appliances. And the power used in your washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer, fridges and freezers, and cooking implies emitting carbon.

The good news in supporting the UK’s journey to net zero is that tech in modern appliances – and clever use of it – does help cut the energy spent. By doing this you will reduce your carbon footprint, with the added bonus of saving money.
