This year’s ERT Awards will now take place on December 6.
Following the Government’s extension of the current Covid-19 restrictions, and the resulting shift in the industry calendar, the event has been moved from its original date of October 18. The venue remains the same – the Grand Connaught Rooms in London’s Covent Garden.
Entries are now open for this year’s awards – click here for more information.
Manufacturers and retailers of home appliances and consumer electronics products are encouraged to send in their submissions.
Awards categories include:
- Turning Point Award
- Sales Excellence Award
- Best New Product – Consumer Electronics
- Best New Product – Major Domestic Appliances
- Best Independent Domestic Appliance Retailer
- Best Independent Consumer Electronics Retailer
On the retailer front, a panel of independent experts will be tasked with determining the winners. In the manufacturer/supplier categories, retailers will have the opportunity to be influential by casting a vote for those that make a difference to their business. AMDEA is one of the supporters of this year’s event.
The awards day will start with the ERT Turning Point Live! Conference, where you will hear from industry peers on best practice in the electrical retail sector after an unpredictable year. Then, the ERT Awards will take place in the afternoon, after a drinks reception and networking lunch.
Jack Cheeseman, editor of ERT magazine, said: “It has certainly been a tricky year for everyone, and we are hoping that the rescheduling of the ERT Awards will allow everyone to feel safer and more comfortable so they can really enjoy the day.
“It is absolutely vital that we take time to reflect on the hard work and the success of this incredible industry. I am extremely excited for this event to return and to see so many of you there in December.”
