Today, 24 September, AMDEA launches its annual Know Watt’s What campaign to highlight the savings that can be made by doing a few simple actions in the home to maximise the efficient running of appliances. The campaign is supported by a press release highlighting an independent survey which looks at who does the ‘thankless tasks’ in the home, and how those tasks such as descaling the kettle or cleaning filters can save energy and water. AMDEA CEO Stefan Hay gave interviews with radio stations across the country to promote Know Watt’s What .
A social media campaign via X, TikTok, Google and Meta also gives consumers advice on caring for appliances and using eco-settings. The campaign is set to run until mid-December.
